The Taiwan Wild Bird Federation (TWBF) was founded in 1988. It is Taiwan's largest bird conservation organization with 21 partner associations throughout Taiwan and its outlying islands. Its purpose is to protect wild birds and their habitats through research, conservation and outreach. We do this through the four main areas of influencing policy, research and citizen science, education and outreach, and international collaboration.
