The TWBF works hard to monitor the situation of Taiwan’s birds and has been instrumental in efforts to protect and save birds such as the Black-faced Spoonbill and Chinese Crested Tern. Some other ways that the TWBF is affecting policy:

-Leader in pushing for bird-related concerns to be addressed in the Taiwan government’s green energy development plans

-Main compiler of State of Taiwan’s Birds publication, which impacts the drafting of legislation
